The 5 Ms of geriatric care
A simple way doctors check everything that matters for an older person.
Memory loss, dementia, sudden confusion (delirium) and depression.
Balance, safe walking and preventing falls, so the person stays independent.
Too many medicines at once (polypharmacy): side effects, interactions and stopping what is no longer needed.
Several long-term illnesses at the same time, treated together and not one by one.
The person's own goals, values and quality of life guide every decision.

Geriatric care in India
India's older population is growing fast. The Government of India runs the National Programme for the Health Care of the Elderly (NPHCE), which provides geriatric services through regional geriatric centres, district hospitals and primary health centres. If a patient needs in-person geriatric care, we can guide you to the nearest government service.
Geriatric care FAQ
Can a son or daughter book for a parent?
Yes. Fill in the form with the patient's details (name, age, problems). Use a mobile number where the family can be reached, and stay with the patient during the consultation.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no consultation fee. Medicines and tests, if advised, are bought separately.
Can the doctor visit at home?
No. NexVok is an online clinic only. If the patient needs to be examined in person, the doctor will tell you where to go.
The patient takes many medicines. Can you review them?
Yes. Upload clear photos of every medicine strip and bottle with the booking. The doctor checks for duplicates, side effects and interactions, and tells you what to continue.
